Okay y’all. You wanted to know more about the digestive enzyme, so I’m here to tell you. I am no nutritionist or doctor, but I did some research before I started taking them and here’s what I found. .
What are they? Digestive enzymes break down our food into nutrients so that our bodies can absorb them. If your body isn’t producing enough, you can’t process all the good stuff from the food you eat. .
What would cause too little enzymes? Low grade inflammation (can be caused by food allergies), low stomach acid, chronic stress (the most common reason). .
Should you take a digestive enzyme supplement? Some symptoms that can show you might benefit from taking a supplement are: gas/bloating after meals, the feeling of food sitting in your stomach (a rock in your gut), feeling full too soon, stool problems (floating, oily, undigested food; I know it’s gross but it’s the truth) .
It’s working WONDERS for me. Currently, I am taking two after each large meal. That ends up being 6 a day. I purchased these at GNC for like $33 for 270 capsules. So far since taking them, I have noticed huge improvements in my digestion. I’m not as gassy after eating, my stomach doesn’t get as bloated, and it’s helping things move normally again 🤷🏼♀️ Lemme know if you have any more questions! . #digestiveenzymes #gnc #happytummy #supplements #guthealth #fitness
