When the physical body is in pain and energy is low, we know that there is an internal process of clearing and regeneration going on.
A Winter withered tree under darker clouds still have preparations going on for the light that follows.
Those of us who are healers, carers, practitioners, therapists, instructors, counsellors, teachers and the like that constantly work with people are more sensitive and prone to taking on the energy of those we are in contact with.
It is important that we educate ourselves by learning protective mechanisms and ways to create a barrier of security around our energy field whilst performing our roles. We of course must learn through experience and put oursekf first.
We need to be selfish to be selfless and also learn that through helping the opening up the space for others to heal, we too speed up our healing process within which is so much learning and wisdom.
At times when we are sick, we are able to reflect more and use experiences to understand ourselves and others more and to bring as much positivity as we can to the process.
After all, "it is through the wounds that the light shines through" (Rumi)
We just need to let it flow. "Sickness is an expiation/cleansing of sins (karmas/transgressions against ourselves and others)" (Prophet Muhammad)
Everything is energy and we can hold feelings, emotions, memories, tension, trauma etc within it, as well as the opposite. Which one would you prefer?
So, we see here there is blessing in everything if only we introspect. We can then accept, forgive and let go making us lighter and more healed and at peace.
Remember to always keep that candle lit, if not for yourself then for others.
