You had Me at Cookie Dough 🍪✨ . They keep on saying eat more raw foods. Well, I came up with a raw cookie dough, does it count? 🤔😅 . If you know me well the kitchen is where I improvise. Giving you a recipe is hard as I rarely make something twice exactly the same nor am I into this measuring and weighing. But if you would love to try this few second cookie dough treat out here it comes ☺ And sorry, just realised the chickpeas are boiled, so not that raw to be honest, uuups 😅 . Approximately: •150g dates, soaked 30 min in hot water •1 can chickpeas, rinsed •1/3 cup almond meal •vanilla, cinnamon •3 tbsp coconut oil, melted •cacao nibs • Pulse everything besides the cacao nibs in a food processor into a somewhat smooth paste. Place into the freezer for about 20 min to harden, form into balls adding cacao nibs randomly. • If you want cookie dough balls that hold together stronger put 3 tbsp to 1/4 cup of coconut oil, if you want a creamy option served in a bowl and prefer to eat oil free don't add any 😉 . Now that it’s not a 95 degrees out, I’m excited to be back to making bone broth regularly. Oddly my kids absolutely love it when I make it too. They all fight over who gets the first slurp out of the instant pot. - Gut Healthy Bone Broth Ingredients - 1 pound bones from Organic/Antibiotic Free meat 2-3 carrots, roughly chopped 2-3 stalks celery, roughly chopped 1 onion, roughly chopped Fresh or dried herbs (thyme, bay leaves, parsley, etc) Generous pinch of salt and peppercorns 1-2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar - Instructions - For the Crockpot or Instant Pot: - Add bones, carrots, celery, onion, herbs, salt and peppercorns to your crockpot or instant pot. Fill to cover with filtered water. Optional: add vinegar and allow to soak for 20 minutes before before turning on the heat. Turn crockpot to high and cook for 12-24 hours or cook on high pressure in an Instant Pot for 2-4 hours. Strain broth and discard bones and veggies. Refrigerate broth and use within 7 days, or freeze. - For the Stove Top: - Add bones, carrots, celery, onion, herbs, salt and peppercorns to a large stockpot. Fill to cover with filtered water. Optional: add vinegar and allow to soak for 20 minutes before turning on the heat. Bring to a boil, and then reduce to a low simmer and cover. Cook for as long as you can while keeping an eye on the stove (several hours). - Enjoy! It’s amazing how your body knows what to do with these oils. When I first got Cheer, I hated it. Thought it smelled sickly sweet. I haven’t used it since I got it 3 months ago because of that first encounter. Then yesterday I’d been having a rough, hormonal day, and this little bottle called out to me. I sniffed again - suddenly I could distinguish the spicy ginger and the cool, uplifting citrus. Didn’t feel sweet at all. I’ve been wearing it as a pure-fume the last 2 days and I’m in LOVE. So is my husband 😊 Funny how our bodies know just which oils are right for us at any given moment... ❤️

Many people think that detoxification is something special that you do to your body by taking certain supplements or following a special program. Detoxification is actually a process that your body does ALL the time. Yep, there are things you can take/ do that will help this process, the body does have built in systems to be able to do this effectively. BUT, it is when the toxic threshold is reached that the body starts to crumble I.e the natural defences don’t do much. This is more likely then not these days... the amount of toxins that we are exposed to, breathe in, eat and put on or skin is SO abnormal for our body. It is at this point that we start to see abnormal symptoms occur I.e -gut issues (IBS symptoms) -skin issues (acne, psoriasis, eczema -headaches, earaches, body aches -cognitive issues -weight gain or difficulty losing weight The body can respond in so many different ways. But the root of many many many gut issues and symptoms associated are from an imbalance of toxins in vs toxins out. So where do we start?? Stay tuned for my next post in this series!

I will be prioritising my training and fitness when I get back! For the past 16 months, I haven't been consistent with it at all.
