Monday’s for me right now are not motivated by early morning sweat sessions. They’re not even motivated by working out 😜 That’s bc Monday’s are my new rest days... at least for the next 5 weeks. It’s good to have a routine, traditions, constants, but every once in a while ya gotta switch it up. Put your schedule on it’s head. Keep your body (and mind) from getting complacent. Keep yourself from just moving through the motions. No better time then now, the off season, to switch things up! In the meantime, imma sit here and soak up this rest day like a mother 🤘🏼

Monday got me feeling PUMP(kin)-ed about this week, and MUFFIN can stop me!! Heading into two weeks of midterms this week, and I’m determined to practice self-care in every way possible: getting enough sleep, eating nourishing foods, good study habits, workouts, and (easy to forget) spending time with friends! Putting it out there and telling y’all so you can keep me accountable ;) So far, we’re one morning workout and one day of meal prepped eats in, so it’s going well. If you want to share your goals w me, comment below or DM me and we can check in on each other YAY! dEATS: Costco organic pumpkin quick bread mix made into monster muffins! I only have 11 silicone baking cups, so instead of 12 normal muffins, I made 11 giant ones. Added a dollop of pumpkin cream cheese in each for maximum fall feels - def the right move. Excited to attempt to enjoy these all week in yogurt bowls - who thinks I can make ‘em last till Friday!?

Let’s finish this year STRONG💪🏽 There are 71 DAYS LEFT of 2018! . What are you going to accomplish in that amount of time? Just because “the holidays are coming up” does not mean it’s time to make excuses. Your goals are ALWAYS important, and you should always be working to get closer to them! Don’t let some extra time spent with friends and family hold you back from what you want. Chances are, they want the best for you, too! So show them that you’re working to make that happen come time to see them this holiday season. . For many of us, this can mean staying true to our diets in spite of all the delicious food and sweets around us. It’s okay to treat yourself some and enjoy those foods, but let’s be real...how many of you tend to treat yourself more than you need to? I know I have🙋🏼‍♀️ . One crucial factor to keeping you on track during this time of the year is ACCOUNTABILITY. Whether that comes from a manager, coach, parent, friend...doesn’t matter! What does matter is that you are being held accountable and actually following through with the things you say you’re going to do. I actually have a coach myself for this reason! Staying on track during the holidays is TOUGH, so don’t go through it alone. If you’re looking for help with what to eat around the holidays to keep you on track, and you need that accountability factor yourself, send me a DM!
