Imposter syndrome! Do you have it? • In 1978, two American psychologist, Pauline lance and Suzanne Imes, coined the term "the impostor syndrome." The impostor syndrome is that feeling of "phoniness in people who believe that they are not intelligent, capable, or creative, despite evidence of high achievement." There individuals "are highly motivated to achieve," yet they "live in fear of being 'found out' or exposed as frauds." • If you ever find yourself feeling like you haven't really earned your successes, take a moment and reassess using some of the steps that are in page 196 of #WOWsdom.

I know the food part of fitness is often one of the hardest. Here is one tip I love. Salt is something our bodies need. I’m not talking table salt, or all the salt that is found in factory made products, I’m talking good natural Sea Salt. There’s so many beautiful ones, take your pick, use the one that you love most. I change it up all the time. Flavour it up with yummy things you love. This one here is garlic, lemon rind and thyme. Change it up every time you make some. It keeps well for at least a week in your fridge. It’s salt so I bet it would keep even longer. I used it today with lemon juice on this quinoa bowl. It was insanely amazing. I’ve used it to cook with on different types of meats, put some on some veggies. It can flavour anything, even your popcorn. I often feel that when people think healthy, they think boring and that is takes for ever to make. Making a sea salt mix once a month or even always have it on hand is a quick simple way to pack a real punch on any meal. I always change it up to get new flavours. Too much salt is not good but our bodies need it and if you are working out, you need it🙂 #gbskitchen #seasalt #healthyfood #healthylifestyle

Success is a journey not a destination. Just keep learning, growing, and tracking your growth. ———————————————————————— Why track your workouts? For us, here are the top three reasons. 1. Holds you accountable and honest. Your workout logs reveal either a positive pattern or a negative avoidance. 2. Makes you purpose-driven and more efficient. Each workout should be about improving something. 3. Provides a clear and measurement towards completing your goals. If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it. . . . Even Santa is getting healthy this Christmas! Dave is showing off his trim Santa bod this year since he's been doing so great with our programs! Just a brief update to my story... So today was a great milestone for me. I now weigh under 200 lbs! Over the past 46 weeks I have managed to shed 187lbs forever! Diabetes - GONE! High cholesterol - GONE! High triglycerides -GONE! High Blood Pressure - GONE! Constant pain - GONE! Constant fatigue - GONE! Poor attitude and outlook - GONE I can’t believe the change that I’ve gone through this year! I now have only 13lbs left to meet my goal weight of 185lbs.! I’ve gone from a size 48 pant to a size 32, yes I’m wearing 32’s in that picture and 5XL shirts to a large! The shear joy and happiness that this has brought me are only eclipsed by the feeling I get now when I coach others and help them accomplish their goals. I don’t think there’s a better feeling than that. If you’re thinking about losing some weight and recapturing your health and your spirit, let me know. We can do this together! Merry Christmas everyone and yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause! 🎅 #gethealthywithcollins #healthcoach #getyourlifeback #santa #skinnysanta #healthyholidays #Christmas #healthysanta #under200lbs #onederland #weightloss #weight #whatdoyouwantforchristmas #merrychristmas #bringonthehealthy #healthierme #healthymindhealthybody #realpeople #livingthebestme #areyouready #helpeachothergethealthy #accountability

Din din 😋 I love how I’m starting to learn, even spontaneously, what good portions look like and how to vary my foods. May seem silly, but after overeating for a long period of time (and mostly on the wrong foods), this feels like a big victory. #fitgirlsguide #healthymindhealthybody #healthylifestyle #fitness #bornworthy #fitteacher #iteachtoo

AMAZING!!!!! Meet Laura! Her story is sooo powerful! Check it out... “Well, it's time⏰ I found health 💪🏼 through an attempt to help a family member avoid weight loss surgery. Myself, An RN of many years, healthy eater and cook, loved to walk, an occasional 5k. After a pinched nerve, a broken arm, restricted activity, my need to get healthy, and the lack of control over my own health became apparent💥 Quickly, my goal of 30 pounds became 50🔥. Then, when 50 went, and I just decided to keep going🏃🏼‍♀️. These past 7 months, my life has changed... ✔️Amazing energy ✔️More restful sleep ✔️Optimal nutrition ✔️ Reduced risk of chronic, debilitating diseases ✔️ Learning healthy habits that will sustain me and assure a MUCH longer, more productive lifetime!! Cheating the grave and taking my life back ❤️ has been an amazing journey thus far😉❤️ #whoisreadytojoinme? #healththroughtheholidays #killingitwithcassidy #healthcoach #weightlosstransformation #weightloss #weightlossjourney #healthymindhealthybody
