(English👇🏼) polvorones de mantequilla de maní con mermelada de frutos rojos y chia🥜🍓 esta es la receta que uso cuando necesitamos galletas rapiditoo! puedes usar cualquier mantequilla de frutos secos, o chocolate oscuro en vez de mermelada. 👩‍🍳 1 T de harina de almendras 3 cdas de mantequilla de maní 1 cda de aceite de coco 1 cda de maple pizca de sal - mezcla todos los ingredientes en un bowl, yo usé un tenedor para hacerlo (la masa se va a ver seca, pero asi está bien!). deja reposar en la nevera por unos 30min. precalienta el horno a 200C. coloca papel encerado o un mat de silicón en una bandeja de hornear. forma las galletas, deben quedar gruesas (rinde para aprox 6pzas). usa tu pulgar para presionar en el medio de cada una. hornea por 12-15min aprox. saca del horno y presiona nuevamente en el medio. colócale un poquito de mermelada encima y deja que se enfrien antes de comer, si no se desmoronan. ✨ . . peanut butter shortbread cookies with berry chia jam 🥜🍓 my go-to recipe when we need cookies asap! you could use any nut butter and dark chocolate instead of jam. 👩‍🍳 1 C almond flour 3 tbsp peanut butter 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted) 1 tbsp maple syrup pinch of salt - mix all ingredients in a bowl, I used a fork to do this (it will look dry and crumbly, thats ok!). let it rest in the fridge for at least 30min. preheat oven to 375F. line a baking sheet and form the cookies with your hands (yields 6 pcs), they should be thick. use your thumb to make an imprint on each one. bake for 12-15min aprox. take out of the oven and gently press on the imprint again. add a lil bit of jam on top and let them cool completely before eating, otherwise they will crumble ✨ . #breakfast #breakfastcookies #healthycookies #healthyrecipes #healthysnacks #dairyfree #glutenfree #eatwell #eatwellbewell #fitfam #healthymom #kidfriendly #balance #balancedlifestyle #nutritionschool #healthcoach #galletas #galletassaludables #sano #snacksaludable #sinlactosa #singluten

5 weeks pregnant, 39 weeks pregnant and 2 days post pregnancy! It’s an interesting thing when we look at the changes in our bodies. Especially after having a baby. So many changes have occurred not just physically! My goals are always a work in progress. It’s not about pressuring myself to be a certain size in a certain period of time. I don’t want to make myself feel un realistic pressure to get my body to how it was post pregnancy when I realize it took more than 2 days to shape my body where I was super confident. For me the journey is about honouring my body. Saying I need a break when I need it. Nourishing my body with foods that help it heal and asking for help because being super mom doesn’t mean doing everything always on my own. Happy Tuesdays mommas!

Today we're doing a some tabata! Not sure what it is or why you should do it? Let me help you out. Tabata is a high-intensity interval training program that impacts both your aerobic and anerobic systems. Using this workout, you'll workout hard for 20 seconds doing the first move, then rest for ten seconds, and workout hard for 20 seconds doing the second move, rest for ten seconds, and so-on. Once you've completed all ten moves, you'll rest for one minute and then start over again. You'll do this four times total. No weights needed, so this can easily be done anywhere! Tabata is great if you want a quick workout and you're short on time, need to switch things up, or want to improve your endurance and speed. Do you feel anxious about getting hungry? 🙃 Do you eat before you go out, just in case? 😬 And are you scared of becoming “hangry” if you don’t eat as soon as hunger strikes?? 😅 Hunger is not an emergency. Hunger shouldn’t feel scary! THE ONLY THING THAT HUNGER TELLS YOU IS THAT IT’S TIME TO EAT AGAIN. 💪🏼 The *problem* is that so many of us are used to being on a diet and hunger somehow means we are failing. 😞 The feeling of hunger when on a diet usually comes in between meals when it’s not “time” to eat again yet, and you can’t possibly imagine waiting another couple of hours to eat but you try to just drink water or chew gum and then finally you cave and eat your next meal early. But then you run out of food by 5pm? Can you relate?! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Hunger simply means that it’s time to eat again. And if you’re eating 3-4 meals a day and you feel hunger sooner than two hours or so after a meal, you’ll want to look at the meal prior and think about how you can adjust. Generally I’ll recommend that my clients add more protein and non-starchy veggies first, and if that doesn’t help maybe some additional fat or starch is necessary. 👌🏼 Again, HUNGER IS NOT AN EMERGENCY. In fact, waiting until you feel hunger *knowing* you have a plan in place for when you do become hungry is a really awesome practice in self-trust and learning how to navigate that feeling *without* hangry-ness. 🙏🏼 Are you eating balanced meals when you are hungry, or are you avoiding hunger because it’s not “meal time” or you’re trying to “diet”? Despite a rough night of sleep we were so excited to try out the preview workout from our newest program!! 🔹🔹🔹🔹 TWENTY MINUTES and my legs were on fire and every muscle had been worked. **Brag Post!!** Its been 3 years and 3 months since my youngest was born. Since then it’s been difficult to lose weight given my factors of age, slower metabolism, lack of exercise, and lack of will power with food. For almost 2 years after her birth, I was 33 pounds over my normal weight!! Then in a moment of inspiration, I decided to track my food intake. I found that I needed someone I needed to be accountable to, so I used @dalimuluc as that person. She didn’t care if I ate healthy or not, but her presence in my daily life motivated me nonetheless. This stack of jeans represents an entire wardrobe that doesn’t fit anymore. It took about a year and a half, but I lost those 33 pounds!! I went from a 30/32 waist size, to a 25 waist (that’s going from about a size 10/12 to a 0)!! I’m proud of myself! And I still have more to lose...or at least tone up a bit.🙂 It wasn’t easy. And I DIDN’T exercise!!! It’s all about what you eat and how much you eat. I’m glad that @dalimuluc was there to be a witness to my struggle and craziness. No cheat diets, no medications...just will power. So now people don’t say “You look good for having 8 kids.” They just say “You look good!” And it’s not usually my style to write something like this, but I’m doing it! Good morning! 💞 I had a good stress-relieving cardio workout today 💦 I got my boys off to school & now I’m working on my final field experience project for one of my classes. 💻 🎓One of my favorite parts of graduate school is being able to tap into a part of my brain that I had closed for several years. It feels so awesome to express my creative “teacher” side throughout this journey. I have found that fire and love for learning again and I’m determined to reach my Education and career goals. I’m so excited to get out in this world and make a difference in the youth of our community. 🤗Teaching, as well as parenting, is the most challenging and rewarding job I have ever experienced. 💫Transformation Tuesday... • A StrongHer client who lifted for 6 weeks but didn’t change any nutrition. Can you imagine if she had! I don’t push StrongHer1 clients to change a lot with nutrition because I want them to concentrate on working on the more advanced lifting techniques and maybe just eating more protein to recover. They gain strength and muscle which does burn fat. Then we adjust macros more in StrongHer2 and they really get leaner... • “I started StrongHer the week of October 8th. I definitely would recommend this to other people. The class not only made me stronger but I also met some great women! This class has completely changed how I workout now and I am now incorporating lifting with my cardio workouts.
