Yesterday Bean started to show signs of panleukopenia💔 We noticed he wasn't acting like his normal self. Typically he is running around like a wild man, looking for trouble! He became very lethargic, he wouldn't eat or drink, and he started to run a fever. We started fluids and meds immediately and treated him every two hours throughout the night.
This morning his fever broke! He ate a good helping of food, along with lots of purrs! We're still not in the clear though..Can you send him your love💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟
We need the power of prayer🙏
Bean has not come in contact with Carly and all of our rescues are kept separate, for this reason. We are very careful with sterilization but the chances of cross contamination are high, especially when treating cats who are sick. Panleukopenia can spread like wildfire and it is very difficult to keep it contained. Our hearts can not take, losing baby Bean.
We will keep you updated on his condition and progress ✴️On a better note~Carly is showing no signs of Panleukopenia right now. We're praying we caught it in time and that she continues to stay healthy. She is doing great!
Eating and drinking plenty..and of course sweet as ever💖
