FALL/WINTER makes me want to HIBERNATE! Anyone else?
The cold is not my friend and yes I realize I still live in WISCONSIN! I question that every winter!! But really, this cold weather makes me want to hibernate. Curl up under a cozy blanket, eat comfort food and not move until spring!
BUT that is not realistic is it?
I find in the winter I become unmotivated to eat right and sweat everyday, which leads to a few extra pounds by the New Year, ugh!! Over the last 2 years I have learn how to break the winter hibernation slump. I now plan my winter months out (what program I will be doing-at least for the next 2 months) I stick close to other challengers in my 2 groups and I am honest and ask them for help. I ask them to hold me accountable on making healthy choices and getting a 20/30 minute workout in at least 5 days a week.
Sounds simple, right? GREAT!! Let’s do this together. Let’s help one another to not gain the winter weight and feel the effects of winter hibernation before New Years. Let’s pick a program to do together and crush this goal!
