Hi Drinkstagrammers! 👋🏻
Today’s drink is made with @
Scapegrace Dry Gin, is the product of two guys from Auckland, New Zealand. 🇳🇿 They didn’t know each other until one married the others sister.
It comes in a nice black bottle, with golden label 🏷. It’s a modern take on the original genever bottles from 200 years ago.
They distill in an old 19th century whisky still, stumbled upon in a long abandoned shed. So the story goes. 🤓
N: Clean on the nose 👃🏻 with citrus aroma’s from lemon peel up front.
P: First taste immediately gives citrus explosion in mouth, followed by dryness of angelica. Some sweeter notes are detected. Liquorice for naming one.
F: Fresh juniper finish, glowing warmth with some nutmeg that lingers
Good quality gin, with medium length and some complexity to it. 😉 57° ABV
