People so very often ask me “How do you do it...remain so calm and sane with so many kids”
But the truth is: it’s easy. Kids are like sponges, and when you act in a certain way, they respond to that and soak it up. If you’re calm, so are they.
Bonus- the more the merrier ... more bodies = more imagination = more fun.
I’m not sure if it’s a good trait, or bad... but we are homebodies. We find the fun in every day at home and we make the best of it ( because yes, let’s be honest... it’s so hard to go anywhere!) We take walks and stop every 5 seconds to look at rocks, lawnmowers and streams of water. We catch frogs and bugs and various living things. We play, we ride, we create all kinds of games. We make chalk messes that entertain us for hours. We play ice cream shop, real and fake. We listen to loud music, we watch some great movies. We spend majority of our time outside, and we never stop creating, imagining and having fun.
What I have learned most about staying home, and BEING home... is that in the hustle and bustle of today, kids need this. They have to be kids, they need this free time to learn and imagine and work together as a team.
That’s what this is I guess, a pretty sweet team, of some pretty epic kids that I get to hang out with 24/7.
It’s easy, if you let it be ✌🏼 #letthembelittle #todaywasagoodday
