So, if you know the meaning of this song, then you probably know what this post is going to be about.
This is a very serious topic of abuse/sexual harassment, so please, if you are triggered/affected easily, do not read or watch the video.
I am a victim of sexual, mental, and physical abuse, and while I could sit here and tell you my story, I won't. This isn't about me.
I'm making this post to raise awareness. If you or someone you know is/might be being abused, please, cry out for help.
Crying out for help does not make you weak. You might be scared, and you might feel hopeless, but it'll be okay, I promise.
The first thing I want everyone to know is that not everyone's situation is the same. And no matter how much you're being abused "compared" to others doesn't matter. Abuse is abuse. If you feel uncomfortable or in danger in any way, tell an adult or the authority, if you are adult, tell the authority immediately. Do not wait for matters to get worse.
If you are showing signs of PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, or any mental disorders, PLEASE, reach out for help.
Reaching out for help will help, I swear it. It might feel scary, and it might feel like the end of the world... but getting people to help and support you is important. You are no less of a person because of what has happened to you, and your friends and/or family who love you, will be there for you.
If you think/know someone who is being abused, speak up, please.
In the comments will be a website link for hotlines of all sorts. Thank you for listening.
