While looking through photos from Kristina’s wedding two photos stopped me in my tracks.
1. The final touches being perfected by Kristina’s bridesmaids moments before stepping into the limo to head to the chapel. Moments before her life and last name change forever. Moments before she walks down the aisle to her person, the one that will vow to always love, support and cherish her all the days of his life. Moments before she gives him her hand and promises to always love and honor him. To be his biggest cheerleader, to push him and to be his comfort at the end of every day. When I walked around and saw this moment it took me a second to take the photo because it literally took my breath away and for a second, I just admired the moment. I will always remember that because of this photo. It was one of those times, as a photographer, that I thought “THIS is why I do this!”. 2. Kara (Kristina’s sister) holding her baby girl, Kollins. As Kollins looked out at the dance floor and was taking in the world around her, Kara had her world sitting in her lap and I just don’t think I’ve ever loved a candid moment more.
