All of the big guys are apparently hanging out in our neighborhood (where it's safe during hunting season). 😂 As hunters ourselves, my husband/I love watching these beautiful animals who surround us everyday (along with the bears, mountain lions, fox, raccoon and elk). It's sometimes hard to articulate to non-hunters, but after I became a hunter, I truly developed a deep passion for all animals and their habitats. I'm able to connect and participate in their natural world, in a deeper way, and it has grown my immense appreciation for all of God's creatures. For me, being a hunter is not about killing...it's about experiencing nature at its best while being respectful of the environment and its animals. My recent injuries and have prevented me from hunting/hiking this past year, but living in the foothills and having all of this wildlife surround me daily has made me happy!
