I can finally say, I broke that GoPro curse whenever I go Spearfishing haha! 👏🐟got that “yellow spottah”. It was another great dive on a fine calm morning. Real talk — everything about today’s run sucked. I’m dehydrated. I only slept 5 hours. My feet were heavy. Elsa wasn’t feeling it. I had terrible form....BUT, we got it done. 1. There are going to be days running gives you wings & there are going to be days running sucks the life out of you. It’s a part of the relationship ... the give & take. 2. Just because I didn’t feel well didn’t mean I was going to use that as an excuse to stop. I still pressed on & didn’t give up. 3. Champions are made on the bad days. #fridaymood Man I love this feeling. Having a fight coming up, a clear goal, and a clear purpose. If you’ve been following me for a minute you know I was posting at the beginning of the year just feeling lost. I wasn’t fighting, I honestly thought I was done with that life, I was setting these goals (I’ll always be a goal setter that’s just the way I’m wired) like deadlift 500, bench 350, or get down to single digit body fat %, and I’d hit them but idk...I’d just feel empty, almost like I didn’t really accomplish anything with it. So when people ask “why are you fighting again?” That’s my answer, it may seem crazy to people but those who have been there understand. It gives me a sense of purpose 🙌🏻💪🏻👊🏻

I was working an expo for work the other day and an older gentlmen came up to me and said, "some people are so crabby, why can't everyone just smile." . As a society we have become very "busy", always on the go, and not focused on building true relationships. . I have been guilty, and I have been making a commitment to do better. . I talked to this gentlemen, had a big smile on, and gave him my full attention. There were over 700 people at this expo and all I cared about was what he had to say. . His wife was living with late stages of dementia and he said, "that's my wife. And everyone is telling me where I should have her live and I need to take care of myself. That's my love and I want her at home by my side until our last breath." . Cue the water works. Yes I cried right there. After talking for a while and just listening to him, he thanked me for taking the time and that he needed to just talk to someone . If someone is talking to you. Be present. Don't let them know about the next meeting you have to go to. You don't know what someone may be going through, and you could be that one that saves them from a shitty day. . Put your best smile on. Day 204 I am grateful for the butterflies. No, not the insect. I’m talking about the times in life where your stomach goes a million miles an hour. Right before you ask for the promotion. Right before you jump out of the plane. Right before you sit down for your first big meeting. Right before you ask her to marry you. Right before you squat that bar to the ground and back. Right before you stand up to the asshole. Right before you actually change your life. I think that your stomach knows something your mind doesn’t. I think it can tell when life changing events are coming. I think if you don’t get that feeling on a regular basis then you really aren’t living. Now it’s your turn Get your day started correctly and Write one thing you are grateful here 👇 Something that I started to do years ago was a gratitude calendar I used to just wake up and start my day not really paying much attention and basically being subjected to feel whatever the day had in store for me This gave the chance for negativity to creep in if things didn’t start great So I started doing this instead. In order to start everyday on my terms and happy I started to write down one thing that I was grateful for. I wrote Something that made me feel good about life. VEGGIE, SAUSAGE & EGG BREAKFAST BURRITO 🍳🌯 . . ☀1/2 Joseph’s Lavash wrap (any wrap/tortilla works) ☀1 egg + 3 egg whites ☀spinach, onion, green pepper ☀crumbled turkey sausage (I use frozen pre-cooked sausage) ☀splash of almond milk ☀pepper + seasoning salt ▪Spray pan and sauté veggies & sausage ▪Whisk together eggs, seasoning, and milk then add to veggies ▪scramble that ish up ▪Add the finished scramble to your wrap and fold it up (this is so difficult props to chipotle workers) . . The face of finishing a successful work out. I used to use an everyday protein shake post work out until I became educated there is a DIFFERENCE. And boy do I notice the difference it makes on my body now that I’m not that I am using a meal replacement shake as my post work out shake. - I started using 1stPhorms post work out stack: Phormula 1 and Ignition after being educated that your body needs something that will digest and process fast enough to spike my insulin levels, replenish my glycogen we burn during a work out, and shuttle protein directly into my muscles right after a work out, which is what phormula 1 and ignition does. - Your post work out stack should be the only thing that will trump a whole food source. Like I promised here a a physique update of how I am currently looking. Thought I would do a different pose than my usual. Definitely been making progress on basically everything which I am excited about. Now some things Ive been thinking about doing in the next year or so is definitely steeping in stage to compete because if you know me you know I’m competitive. Don’t know if I will be competing in physique or classic because I’ve been noticing that my legs grow easier than any other part of my body. And another thing I will be doing in the future is getting my personal training license hopefully by next summer so I can start treating other.

Here’s yayyy to the last workout of my first ever show prep. I came into this knowing I want it and knowing I can do it. I showed up for a consultation with my coach on the verge of a shoulder surgery killed with a constant pain but we were able to turn things around and it took us a total of about 28 weeks to get me stage ready to compete in figure category 💪🏻 Its all about mindset, goals and of course people who know their craft. I wanted the change and I committed.
