✨✨Everything is happening for you. Not to you. You are stronger, and capable because of these experiences. You are loved and loving. Your heart is open and free. Light radiates from you and reflects back to you. And, her. And, him. And, them. And, us. We are all one. Striving and moving and flowing and pausing and waiting and living. ✨✨⠀
My brother just visited this weekend. And, his presence really filled my cup up. We haven't seen each other in person for 4 years. For no real reason except life and finances and scheduling. Growing up we were always so close - 23 months apart and by each other's side through it all. We had a pretty great childhood, and then we moved to Tennessee when I was 14 and everything changed. My dad's job was away from home and my mom fell into a hole of misery when her mother and brother passed away. She coped with drugs. We coped by leaning on each other. Then I went to college and I left him. He actually lived on his own for a year as a 16 year old minus a few visits from my dad when he was off the road. He had food and money and a roof over his head until finally our grandparents took him in. He's my hero. He is fire and strength. He is also my baby brother, my buddy. He's grown now with a beautiful family of his own - a wife, daughter and son. ⠀
This weekend just reminded me that we are all here to learn and share. Our journey happened for us. Not to us. Sure, we've learned to protect ourselves and throw our guard up. But when we drop it down, the light just flows. Everything is bright and joyous. ⠀
Take care of that delicate heart, my friend.
