It's no secret #Randy is one of my #FavoriteWorkout's. 75 #PowerSnatches as fast as you can finish. I knew I could move faster than a year ago when we last did this workout, so I just tried to zone in and hang on to the barbell. Movement felt good, I was cycling faster than last time, but I got more tired than I would have liked and had to break more than I intended. Probably didn't help that I had worked a bunch of heavy squat snatches the day before, so all things considered, I'm very pleased with my PR time of 4:01, an improvement of 27 seconds.
As usual, my form went downhill under fatigue, mostly becoming muscle snatches and/or pressing out when I should be dropping under the bar. I have to remind myself to bend my knees instead of folding in half. If you compare to last year (see my post from 7/7/17), I stayed more upright for longer, so that's a big improvement. Always plenty of room to keep getting better.
