[Dia 16] Agora sim falta menos do que a metade e os sonhos com doce e junk food começaram pra valer! 😂 Essa noite sonhei que devorava uma mesa inteira de doces e depois passava no drive thru do Mc Donald’s! Day 15 😝I can’t believe it we are half way thru #whole30 #januarywhole30 I’m trying to cook for few days and just use leftovers for days we are insanely busy. Coconut chicken curry is easy to make and delish. I added some 🍍🍍 #feelinggreattoday #pinnapple #cocnutecurry #whole30meals #januarywhole30challenge #imwhole30 Recipe 1.5 pound chicken breast ( I always take it out of freeze, fill dish with water and 1 teaspoon salt and put chicken in it and let it thaw in the fridge overnight..- this will make chicken soft and fluffy .. I’m sure my wording sucks).. 4 medium sized potato 1.5 cups carrots Pineapple is optional ( I added because we love it ) 1 small onion Heat 2 tbsp coconut oil and sauté onion for 8 minutes Add chicken that you cut into cubes To this you will add spices : 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper ,1/4 teaspoon cumin,1/4 teaspoon curry powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes This chicken and onion should be sautéed until chicken is no longer pink .. than you will add carrots ( sliced) and 2 cups of chicken broth( cook this in medium low) While this is cooking in separate dish you will cook potatoes Whole with skin on it until fork tender That usually takes 15-20 minutes and by that time your chicken and carrots will be soft and now you can check potatoes if ready peel them and cut into cubes which you will add to chicken carrots mixture Sauce - 1 can coconut milk ( I use Thai kitchen) 1 tbsp red curry paste ( sprouts has it ),1 tbs almond butter ( I found excellent one at Costco ) 2 tbsp lime juice and 1 tsp minced garlic I’m a large skillet over medium heat, heat coconut milk( shake can before opening really good because cream will be in the top and gets messy so shake it).. add rest of the ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes stirring constantly ( this step you can’t miss because you will burn the sauce).. This sauce you will add to your potatoes chicken and carrots and heat it thru Add pineapple if you like it I truly suck at explaining stuff but I’m always here to help

Yesterday was #whole30day30! We made it! 🎉First weeks were harder. It became easier and easier. Eating out is a completely different story though (only did it twice). _______________________ Greatest lessons: 1) Everything has sugar! (read your labels); 2) Be open minded—try new ways of making your fave dishes (zoodles, cauliflower rice and sweet potatoes are great alternatives); 3) It's possible to pack your lunch every day (I had so many excuses 🙈) ______________________ This experience truly helped me become more organized and learn more about the food I put in my mouth. And I did slay the sugar dragon (cravings are under control). Some days I felt an increased burst of energy but I'm still waiting for what the #whole30community calls #tigerblood. Maybe I need more days? Overall, it was a fun journey. I tried many new dishes, found great pages on Instagram and I think I finally cooked more meals than Andres (@vnzla81 - thanks for sticking with it with me. LEARNING ABOUT FOOD FREEDOM . . . I wish I would have read this book through the first time. I don't even believe I got through the first half. I had just started to learn that I had a binge eating problem after failing after 14 days of my first attempt & then trying many attempts afterwards. If only I had read this book through & through! 👩🏻‍🍳💕✨ 📝✔️ -1 Large Sweet Potatoe peeled and diced. . -1 Banana peeled. . -3 eggs. . -1/3 cup walnuts or almonds. . -1/3 cup coconut oil. . -1 tbs Vainilla. . -1 tbs baking powder. . -1/4 tbs baking soda. . -1/3 cup almond flour. . -3/4 tbs cinnamon. . -1/8 tbs ground nutmeg. . -Coconut to sprinkle on tops. . 👇🏼 ✨Cook the sweet Potatoe no more than 15". ✨Smash the sweet Potatoe with a banana. ✨Then add the baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, almond flour and salt. ✨Then add the wet ingredients (coconut oil, eggs and vainilla extract). ✨Put the mix into a cupcake mold and bake them for 25-30 minutes. ENJOY!!!!🤤💕✨

About last night 👆🏼 After meal prepping for this upcoming week, I whipped up this nourishing dinner for two before a couple's massage date night 💆🏼‍♂️ Paleo-friendly, Whole30-compliant, and 💯% will-make-again delicious! And I integrated @bonafideprovisions "Glow" Drinkable Veggies bone broth for extra flavor, a dose of gut-friendly collagen, and the vibrant deep red color. 🥗🍗🍵🍴Recipe for this veggie-packed Riced Cauliflower Pilaf below. 👇🏼 # In a skillet, sauté 2 cups of riced cauliflower, 1/2 cup chopped spinach, 1/4 cup diced red onion, and 1/4 cup chopped cremini mushrooms (@fourthandheart Himalayan pink salt ghee was my cooking fat of choice). Once the mixture is lightly steaming and tender, add 1/2 cup @bonafideprovisions "Glow" Drinkable Veggies bone broth (a flavorful blend of tomato, beet, cucumber, onion, basil, sea salt, and chicken bone broth) and a handful of diced heirloom tomatoes. Stir thoroughly, cover, and leave on the stovetop until the riced cauliflower soaks up the drinkable bone broth and the color is even throughout the mixture. # And that's it! Recipe ⤵☆Slow Cooker Shakshuka☆ __ Happy Valentine's Day! This is what I made my husband for #valentines breakfast. But you can serve this shakshuka anytime of day. The eggs cook in the tomato sauce right in the slow cooker. For more info & pics, click the link in my profile 👆👆. __ Slow Cooker Shakshuka 4-6 eggs 28 ounces whole tomatoes 4 garlic cloves, minced 2 bell peppers, diced 1 small onion, diced 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp coriander 1/2 tsp paprika Fresh parsley Add all the ingredients except the eggs to the slow cooker. Stir to mix well. Cook HIGH 1-2 hours. Dig 4 small holes in the shakshuka sauce. Crack one egg into each hole. Cover and cook an additional 10-20 minutes on HIGH. Thirty days later I have detoxed my body and not the one you're stuck home for. I have abstained from carbs dairy processed foods and sugars.
