I did a thing! Competing in bodybuilding is something I've always thought about doing but something I never thought I would actually follow through with, therefore never told anyone about it.
I took away a podium finish for Bikini Open Class 2 & placed 4/8 in Bikini Novice. Feedback was to work on smiling & strutting my stuff like no one is watching! 😉🙄 One of the hardest things during this prep was diet. For those that know me, know I love my food. You go back for seconds? I go back for thirds or fourths. I'm a vulture who eats with their eyes. 😂 I've learnt to appreciate “healthy” food & knowing that my body can come this far in just a matter of four months I can only imagine how much further it can progress.
Thank you to my PT, Chris at @ for enduring our sessions with gritted teeth. He's been listening to my potty mouth churn out every bad word under the sun 😂
Thank you to my coach, @ There were many times I failed to see how I could get a “flat” stomach or how I could even fit in the bikini I bought, or that it was just “water weight”, but for you to only say “trust the process”. This was all new to me & hard to accept as I have never seen my body in this way.
Thank you to @ who did my hair & make-up. I don't wear make-up, I don't do my hair & my brows are bushier than this 😂 She had a blank canvas to work with & did a wonderful job. Thank you for your screams of encouragement!! I heard you girl.
Thank you to Sarah & Jess at @ for my tan, the words of encouragement and reassurance. They are bubbly/ fun girls who are so inviting!
Thank you to you know who you are for tipping me over the edge & getting me to sign up. Thank you to my support crew on the day and all the lovely ladies I shared the day with 😘
More to follow 😉
