Sometimes things just don’t go as planned. When that happens I just throw my arms up and move on.
I don’t know when I started to take life in strides and move on quickly, but I believe it was circa 2007-2008. That’s when I started to remove people, places, events, and things from my life that gave me stress.
I keep trying new things and I keep moving forward. Every bad or disappointing thing leads to something better.
Some recent examples that have been documented socially include:
• Losing NE Puppy 2018; but then I won IGUP 2018.
• Loosing my father, followed by the outpouring of support from you guys on social media, which gave me the courage to come out as kinky to my mom. • The broken pipe that flooded my house, which is leading to a remodeling and my ability to rent out an extra room in the near future. It also gives me the needed big step to commit to living in France for the majority of the year. • My truck dying on me, but I needed a new one anyway and was not motivated to find one. • Lastly, now that I lost the Mr Slut France competition this weekend I’m wondering what the upside will be tomorrow.
The point of all this is to realize that every huge down has an up. That’s the way the universe works. Whether or not you recognize the upside is a different story.
