Don't try to 'think' your way into alignment with what you want. Feel your way into alignment, and then think the thoughts that come when you're in alignment.
You need to feel your way there, feel the feeling of already having it, accomplishing it, achieving it, enjoying it. Then rewire your brain by affirming it with words!
Feel the emotions that any given thing creates within you. Because that is what we are striving for- the feeling these things give us inside. It's not the partner- it's the loving connection, comfort, closeness. It's not the job- it's the security, it's the growth and contribution. It's not the new shoes- it's the rewarding or gifting to self, confidence and attention they bring.
Saying these words over and over aren't enough. Affirmations are powerful when you become vibrationally matching, feeling the words before you think them into being.
