Monday morning, at my Quiet Space. Remember this: We can always find a small, Quiet Space within our hearts. Everything else may be flying around us, with sounds, alternate plans, alternate interests, alternate fields of vision. We may be seen, or we may be lost in a blur; we may be heard, or we may be background chatter; we may be welcomed, or we may be merely tolerated. Please remember this: you matter. You always matter. Our available view is always 360 degrees. Change your focus, even just a few degrees, and see a different aspect of what is where you are. Zoom in, or zoom out. What is beautiful, in even the smallest measure? Is it the curve of a small stone? Is it the sound of a faithfully ticking clock? Is it the feel of your own heart, beating, your own breath flowing in and out of your body, the feel of an old scar that has healed, the fresh recognition and reminder that, as invisible as each of us may be to the outside, we are still incredibly visible to ourselves on the inside? See, and feel, and know, just this moment, completely dedicated to your discovery. You are worth it, always, and it is available, always, and we will know the love and healing that flows to, and through, our hearts. Small moments aren’t really small; small moments are moments, completed and recompleted, with every heart beat, every breath, every blink of our eyes. You are worth every one of them. I promise.
