Love doing these❤️. The landmine rows are a great row exercise for back. The neutral grip, and the different lever from the landmine make this exercise a slightly different movement from the barbell row. It is usually a bit easier on the lower back, and thanks to the neutral grip from the V-handle you're usually able to lift more weight with this variation. Since leaving... being kicked out of school at 18... twice 😂 I’ve learned to love learning. . Back at school the days used to drag for me, I’d of struggled to stay awake and focused in class and the reason being I didn’t enjoy or have any use the information I was being forced to learn. . Since starting my own business 3 and a half years ago I’ve fell in love with learning but on my terms. Since day one any skill I’ve needed to know I’ve had to self learn through trial and error or by self study online. . I’ve followed successful business people on social media and mentors and ingested whatever I could from whatever piece of content they were putting out. . I’ve heard them all say the same thing time and time again and that’s to not only invest in your business but to invest in yourself. So far I’ve only did this once and that was 2 years ago when I flew to London for a @garyvee speaking event that @thebeastofbusiness put on. . Last night I decided to take the plunge and finally invest in myself by signing up to funnily enough one of @thebeastofbusiness ‘s online courses in copy writing. . What’s changed in the last 4 years that’s made me love learning? . Simple! Its on my terms and it’s for me. Any information or piece of knowledge that I can get my hands on I get to apply instantly to @OneFit and get real time data and feedback back via sales and analytics. . I get to push forward my passion and business at a faster rate and deliver a better service and product to our customers. . By learning I get to make myself a more valuable asset to my company. . A business lives and dies on sales and sales are only generated by delivering the best each and every time... and then bettering that next time. . The thought of @OneFit ever not working out scares the hell out of me. There’s not a single other thing on this planet that I want to do for the rest of my life so why wouldn’t I give it every part of me? . Businesses either succeed or fail by the decisions of their owner/s. . How much of yourself are you willing to give for your passions? If it’s not every piece of you then it won’t work. . To gain everything... you must willing to loose everything!

OMG it has been so long since I have been able to properly train. I need to start taking the advice I give to my clients and listen to my body. Recovery Is just as important as training. For the past few months I have been off every couple of weeks with some sort minor injury. I feel like I've learned my lesson and am going to try as hard as I can to take it nice and slow and ease the weights back up.

Be better than yesterday.🔥 — What can you do to wake up with purpose every single day? I have been there before where I dreaded the sound of my alarm going off. I began to change my thought process and said life is too short to not be going after the dreams and aspirations I set for myself. 👇👇👇 - You need to stop thinking to yourself “One day I’ll do it”. Do you honestly want to be in the same position 2-3 years from now not achieving your goals. Yesterday I ran a poll asking you guys about your meal times/frequency and whether or not you snacked throughout the day. - A lot of you said you snack throughout the day, and even the ones that didn’t say that, I can imagine you still do some snacking. - I want to give you an example of a client of mine who was like this and was under the impression that she couldn’t be eating that many calories since she did not eat full meals. - I was taking her for PT in the evening. - She walked in, and we had a bit of a chat as usual. - At the time I was eating an energy ball , so I offered her one before we got started. - During my PT’s, I like to ask lots of annoying questions (my clients will be able to attest to this haha). - With this particular client, I asked her to recall all the things she had eaten that day, as I knew she was a picker/grazer (like some of you in today's poll). - She told me about all the bits and bobs she had. Which was fine. - Then I asked her “What about the energy ball?”. - Oops. Forgot about that. - She had eaten that 20 minutes beforehand. - Now I’m not telling you this to make my client look like a fool, she is actually a very intelligent lady. - This is to illustrate that if you tend to pick at stuff all day, you are a lot more likely to forget about what you had eaten. - Not great if you’re trying to lose body fat or manage your weight in general. - So what’s the remedy to this? - As usual, it depends. - But in my experience, it is probably a good idea to keep some sort of record if this is the type of eating pattern you stick to. - You don’t necessarily have to track your calories, you could simply record the number of times you had a snack in the day. - It’s all part of being aware and mindful of your diet. - A whole day of picking can absolutely push you out of calorie deficit, even if it seems like you’ve eaten nothing all day. - Now, in terms of satisfaction from your diet, it’s a better idea to have some solid meals throughout the day. - But if you tend to snack a lot, then maybe you should be a bit more mindful of the frequency and type of snacks that you eat. - It all snacks up at the end of the day. -

SIMPLE SALMON DINNER: Made this meal this evening - took about 20 minutes to prepare, such a quick and easy one after a busy day. . ✅ Pre heat oven to 180 degrees (fan oven). . ✅ Place salmon fillet in tin foil, with a squeeze of fresh lime and a sprinkle of cracked black pepper and sea salt. Parcel up in tin foil and place on baking tray. Bake for 12 minutes or until cooked through. . ✅ Wash and prepare your fave veg - I used broccoli, sugar snap peas, peppers and baby corn. Pressing 60kg for sets of 5. Not my strongest area.. but my favorite lift next to the deadlift! Everyone should work towards more overhead work. Youll build stronger shoulders/ triceps and a more balanced shoulder girdle . You also need a strong core and traps to stabilise weight overhead. The press used to be THE lift... before everyone wanted bigger chesticles like Arnie... people now focus far too much on that area.. and pay less attention to shoulder and proper back work. you should consider a 2:1 ratio of vertical to horizontal pressing... preferably standing work. And heavy barbell pressing just feels awesome! Here’s another leg day videooo ☺️👏🎉 💛 There’s a couple in here that I was trying for the first time: 1️⃣ barbell front squat 10reps x 3sets- heavy on the ol shoulders! 2️⃣ barbell hack squat 10x3 - these were tough to get the hang of! 3️⃣ dumbbell step up 12x3 for both legs 4️⃣ leg extension 10x3 5️⃣ lying leg press 10x3 🏋️‍♀️ Let me know if you try any of these or if you have any tips for the front squat or the hack squat! Here’s a simple swap you can use to enjoy going to the cinema with zero guilt. _ So generally the cinema deals include a popcorn, drink and maybe a chocolate or some sort of sweet. A lot of the time people generally go for the large option as it’s seen to be great value for money. _ Along with this comes a substantial amount of calories. So you could apply a simple swap and still enjoy going to cinema, “fitting in” with others while not ruining your daily calories in one sitting. _ You could save over 870 calories with this option. Plus by not going all out and eating for the sake of it, this may help you stay on track as opposed to going on a serious binge for he remainder of the week. _ Many use the “f**k it” approach, once they have gone “off-plan” they usually will carry binging. “I don’t know if I have the motivation to XYZ” - Let me talk to you about motivation. - It’s weak. - Motivation is a short-term state of mind. - It’s something that we all experience at certain points during the days, weeks and months, all in varying amounts. - One day you are hyped up, ready to kill the day and get loads of jobs done. - The next you feel like a sloth and just want to crawl up into a ball under your duvet. - Relying on motivation to drive you towards success will get you absolutely nowhere. - No successful person on the planet will tell you that they have unlimited amounts of motivation every day, and that’s why they are successful. - There are days I get up and think “fuck it”. - I’ll be honest with you, after my operation, I had a lot of days where I said “fuck it”. - What I had to rebuild was not motivation, it was discipline and routine. - Discipline allows you to get shit done even when you couldn’t be arsed. - Discipline will allow you to build an amazing body and a healthy mind. - Not motivation. - Because while motivation can be useful at times, you definitely cannot rely on it. - Let me give you a super simple example. - You are disciplined enough to brush your teeth every morning, as it’s part of your routine. - You don’t wake up some mornings and think “I AM SO MOTIVATED TO BRUSH MY TEETH AFTER WATCHING THAT MOTIVATIONAL YOUTUBE VIDEO ON DENTAL HEALTH”. - Because that’s fucking ridiculous. - You need to make every task that is open to being done or not done, like brushing your teeth. - Motivation is shite. - Discipline yourself.
