Fussy eaters at meal times can be very stressful (I get it!), and is often a battle between giving them food that you know they will eat vs giving them food that you know they should be eating. 🥦
Tonight I did a simple side of sauteed vegetables, starting with butter and garlic - flavour bomb! I made vegetables that I like, the way I like them cooked. It totally shocked me that George then proceeded to eat half a plate of them!
Encouraging kids to eat their vegetables can take some creativity, patience and consistency. If they expect veggies to be on the plate, they will get used to seeing them and hopefully, start to try them. Factors such as texture and flavour are really important, and varies between kids. George prefers savoury food, so butter, garlic and seasoning on the veggies was obviously a winner!
