My strongest weapon is the written word,
the power to change the fate of the battlefield through
connecting to each and everyone of you.
Every time you read my posts, learn and share about the plight of wildlife to survive in the daunting world we have created,
the call of the Wild travels just a little bit further.
I would walk a thousand miles and write a million words if I could bring back every dead elephant bull, I or all the scouts of the continent have encountered.
This isn't only about elephants, it isn't only about pangolins, rhinos, lions, leopards, sharks, tigers, vaquitas, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, pandas, palm oil, deforestation, plastic pollution, you name it... What this is truly about, is the critical need to stop the blood flow, to stop the exploitation, the imbalance, the corruption,
and the destruction of the only thing that unites us all, our Mother Earth.
We have to be relentless in our pursuit of justice for the natural world.
The war of Saving the Wild, is a war on greed, but what stands to be lost is painfully priceless.
Every species and their stories of suffering haunt me.
Yet at the same time they compel me to push on through the darkness, wherever the road may lead, no matter how difficult.
Anyone that has spent time amongst wild things will understand; the pure magic of nature, the awe and the longing to be close to something so much greater than what we are, than what we comprehend. 🙏🏽🌍🙏🏽
