Pics from @ who wrote: So Arianne @ n me visited the ancient city of Jaipur today. We checked out the Amber Fort, a crazy epic palace, we will share pics later. But then our driver tells us he knew a spot where you could paint elephants and we jumped at the opportunity! No, it’s not animal cruelty, it’s a family run farm that’s owned elephants for several generations (700 years!) and they treat them as family members. Anyways, we only had a couple of hours before the sun went down, and the brushes where actually small bamboo sticks, but Arianne n me painted (with water soluble paint) this fun lil design on the elephant’s head. I’ve never painted a canvas that moved so much (or pooped), it was certainly a fun dance! Grateful for another fun day in India!
