After the unexpected storm, the ocean has shifted it’s position, it’s perspective. .
Like us humans, after we go through our own life’s storm, we are shifted in our perspective and awareness.
The shore is not the same, the sand has moved and the ocean grasses have been displaced and are in places uprooted and other places beaten up.
We go through the same experience. Our emotions get uprooted, provoked, angered, betrayed and confused. We experience waves of different emotions that come at us one after the other.
And during our life storm we hold on to our grounding, just like the sea grass, sometimes we stay grounded, other times we are moved off our security.
It is a harrowing tumultuous time when you don’t know when it will end or how it will end.
But, the ocean teaches us. Nature teaches us.
After the storm, the landscape is different, but it’s beauty has remained. It’s light and grace are even more brilliant than before. It has survived, like all of us do. Although the perspective is changed, the shoreline has moved, the ever-flowing constant movement of breath and light of its vulnerable soul, is still unchanged. It is a survivor to life’s storms, as all of us are.
