Walking down a village in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar I was really mesmerized by the beauty of nature. My country is so beautiful, but living in the capital & watching the exploitation of natural resources makes one forget the true spirit or importance of nature. We traveled many miles just to have some green & peaceful silence. Me along with my friends were walking down a narrow village road with abundance of nature around us. Little homes built with clay and mud, small clean pond with swimming flock of ducks, a rooster walking along, a little innocent boy going to school with a cap on his head who gave us a beautiful smile, some village women chatting, asked me if I like their village. I told them I love it. I love villages cause its so pure and reminds of me of that connection I have with the nature. We all are earthlings. We are a part of nature & nature is a part of us. I've touched the coconut tree, I've touched a few intricate looking leaves, I've been mesmerized by those colorful flowers that waved at me from distance. Mother Earth has always been a blessing to me. I'm talking about myself cause it really gives me the power to survive. Everyday I see so much atrocious brutality by humans, makes me feel I'm also responsible for my species's behavior. I wish I could take away all the pain and keep the nature safe. And the saddest part is some miles away the Rohingya people are suffering the most horrific situations that I couldn't imagine. It makes me think - Heaven or Hell, both are right here. In this Planet. Each of us are in the middle of those dimensions. With both eyes we see beauty and with those eyes we see pain.
