💯💪👍🥦 WEIGHTLOSS WEDNESDAY 🥑🍎🍇💯 A few daily habits, that really AREN'T that difficult to instil into your routine... but be careful, there's a LOT of misinformation out there, connected to some of these... Eat a HEALTHY diet, in general - this does NOT mean starving yourself! It means eating a balanced diet, generally high in fruit and vegetables, low in carbohydrates, especially flour and sugar, which should be avoided where possible, and NOT eating foods that contain words you don't understand or can't pronounce! Fats are IMPORTANT - without them your body can't correctly utilize the food you are giving it, BUT don't overdo them!! Packing your lunch is tied in with the healthy diet. A packed lunch (as long as it is healthy) avoids sudden impulse purchases of unsuitable meals, as you can prepare it at home, when you are NOT hungry!
Take daily exercise... however, this does NOT have to be excessive, ...and, beware of "rewarding" yourself after exercising with unhealthy foods - that will undo all the good you did by exercising!
If you take your exercise outside, you will kill two birds with one stone. Sunlight is REALLY important for vitamin D levels. These days, due to the scares of skin cancer, MANY people are lacking vitamin D, which is really important for EVERYONE - and this includes if you are wanting to lose weight.
Drink PLENTY of water. Your body does NOT function correctly if it is short of water. This includes its use of food and storage of fat. You need to drink BEFORE you feel thirsty . if you actually feel thirsty, your body is lacking water!
Our bodies NEED a minimum of 8 hours sleep per day, on average... those who tell you otherwise are trying to kid themselves, and will not be functioning at optimum levels during the day. This also affects weight loss, as a body that is craving sleep, doesn't utilise its food correctly, and stores more as fat than is required. In addition, a lack of sleep can have repurcussions on the mind in later life - it can lead to such things as Alzheimers and Parkinsons!
