Lunge, bir kaç kas grubunu aynı anda çalıştıran bir alt vücut egzersizi. Hedeflenen kaslar; kalçalarımızdaki kaslar, kalçalarımızdaki uyluklar ve quadricepsler. Alt bacaklarımızdaki baldır kasları, karın kaslarımız ve sırt kaslarımız da bu egzersiz sırasında dengeleyici. Eğer hareketi doğru yapıyorsanız ve özellikle ağırlıkla çalışıyorsanız, ertesi gün ağrıdan oturabilmeniz gerçekten çok zor. Varyasyonlarından #jumplunges konusuna girmiyoruz bile 😣 Aslında bu hareket, rutin egzersiz anlayışımızın dışında çok önemli faydalar sağlıyor. Hip fleksörlerin ( kalça fleksörleri ) esnekliğini fazlasıyla artıran bir hareket. Bir kaç hafta üst üste, esneme amaçlı bile yaptığınızda kalçanızdaki açılma ve esnekliği çok rahat hissedersiniz. Yogayla ilgilenenler bilir, warrior pozuna hazırlık gibidir lunge. 2 years ago today... . We have held many fundraisers, hosted numerous HERO WODs, and worked out for many causes...every one means so much more than just a workout. Today we remember and honor Lesley by working hard and heart-driven in her name. . Here’s Lesley’s story... On Saturday, October 8th 2016, a resident from a home on Cypress Road in Palm Springs, had gone to a neighbor's house and stated that his son was armed and wanted to shoot police officers. Responding officers, including Palm Springs Police Officer Gil Vega, and Palm Springs Police Officer Lesley Zerebny, arrived at the scene several minutes later. The man's son, located inside the home, opened fire on them as they approached the front door, killing Officer Vega, Officer Zerebny and wounding a third officer. . Lesley had only recently returned to Patrol Duties from maternity leave, having given birth four months earlier to a beautiful and spirited baby girl, Cora Rayne. She is now with husband Zack and beautiful baby girl in spirit. . Words from her dear friend Sam Siaw who initiated the creation of this HERO WOD, ”To those that knew her, Lesley embraced life, and lived it to the fullest. She was a fighter, an incredibly talented artist and a devoted wife and mother. Lesley never quit, and refused to let those around her give up, or give in. As part of preparations for a race I like to programme a few plyometrics in the last six weeks. There's a good evidence base that supports the usage of plyometrics for improving distance running by decreasing ground contact time and improving running economy. It's very easy to add in a short jumping routine in your running programme, and it can be done as part of a warm-up for a regular run or before a strength training session, as they shouldn't be fatiguing if you're programming them correctly. In my mind, I look powerful and athletic doing my jumps, but then watching the video back, I realise that the old adage "white men can't jump" is applicable in my case. Day 5 of the #move2improve challenge with #docjenfit I had already done a video for the jump lunges about a week ago, but doing squats with them looked very interesting and so tried it out. It is challenging to jump lunge and squat and then jump lunge again. I could see that it really takes coordination with the brain to remember which side to lunge after squatting! Sorry for the extra short video but I was low on phone memory and it automatically stopped recording.I did complete the HIIT workout though. Feeling and looking bigger and stronger after a month of no machines and no weights just body weight exercises, press ups and squats to be exact! This is my progress so far, not to bad but I can do better so I have started my second 30 day challenge if anyone wants to join me, 3000 muscle ups and 3000 jump lunges in 30days. It's that simple just make sure you come all the reps before the end of the month and record your results with a video of before and after. NEW CHALLENGE FOR OCTOBER. Use a blue band and do 100 muscle ups and then do 100 jump lunges every day for month of October. Already started and just finished the second day and arms are already killing me. I'm doing 140 of each a day so I don't have to do them on the weekend but as long as you get 3000 reps done by the end of the month it doesn't matter how you do them as long as they get done. The September challenge I missed 4 days and had to do a catch up day of 1000 reps, 💪🤯.
