Oh yeah! This dinner was all kindsa yum!! Plus it’s super quick and easy to prepare.. winning🤜💥 #whatsonmyplate I’ve got an oven roasted salmon fillet with a lemon pepper seasoning, oven roast asparagus (that I drizzled in olive oil, lemon juice and more lemon pepper seasoning and added to the same pan about 1/2 way through cooking the salmon) and some cauliflower rice. Take away that caters for food intolerances! Over the next few months I will be sharing take out which caters for both Tom's needs to eat a lot and my needs to not get lactose intolerant sick after eating out 😷 I love how many restaurants are now catering for food intolerances and you don't have to feel difficult or guilty for asking 😉 I got my hands on the GF power bowl with DF sauce and Tom devoured a beef burrito or 4 with #noregrets. @Zambrero also just launched the old favourite chips & guac to their menu as an extra which is great because when you have to eat out with someone like Tom... you need delicious, affordable fillers to save buying him 4 burritos 😂 The one down the road from our house is also a drive through (this could be bad news...) and means it is perfect for those late night, after workshop dinners or a dinner drive by in your PJs - no judgement over here... 🤷🏽‍♀️ #zambrero #zambreropartner

Chicken stock is on! The frozen rooster doesn’t quite fit... yet! Once it defrosts it will though 😂 I’m going to slow cook this for around 24hrs so no need to wait for the chicken to defrost. Yesterday was one hell of a delicious day, and a bit of a treat too! 🐠 For lunch we journeyed over to an old work favourite of mine. My choice? This incredible fillet of sea bream paired with a pineapple-gin cocktail with passion fruit and elderflower! 🍷 I then ran from Chancery Lane to Victoria to meet @tall_amy_travels for a glass (or five) of wine at M Bar. The plan was to also eat dinner but we got totally distracted in our catch up and so had to pop to a reliable Italian chain at 10.30 to save the day! 🙌🏼 Oh, and now it’s finally Friday! YAY!

Happy to find another tasty gluten-free find at the Happiest Place on Earth. Who would've guessed that the place known for their BREAD, @LaBreaBakeryCafe at Downtown Disney would not only have a bunch of delicious-sounding salads, but also gluten-free bread on the side (I suspect it was @LittleNorthernBakehouse based on how much I liked it). I got the Cobb salad, and it was loaded with all my favorites - turkey, bacon, and avocado. ❌Does this sound like you❓👇👇 Bc who cares that you have put on muscle, looking & feeling great and have a good relationship with food, mentally happy with yourself bc the scales have gone up and they never lie..... so after this you stress out, you cry, eat all the shit that makes you feel ‘better’ and from here the nasty circle of hating yourself starts again. - You follow that strict diet of counting calories, macros etc etc and my goodness if you step out of that diet and eat one piece of chocolate you will blow up like a ballon 🍫🎈. - You do fasted cardio or not 7days aweek you train weights 6 days aweek on top of that and then you have to do life too. - Some people LIVE for the gym and a strict diet 👍. But all I hear why too much of is I followed this diet and that diet and it was great while I followed it but now I just can’t get myself motivated to start again and I WEIGH my heaviest 🤦‍♀️. - This is where stress starts not just mentally but it stresses the body out physically lending too 👇👇👇👇 * weight gain * Overeating * Overtraining * Binge eating * Depression * Laziness * And so many more - I have followed strict diets, trained 24/7 and you know where it got me? Having a fat and skinny wardrobe, hating myself, unhealthy relationship with food, addicted to weighing myself, etc etc. - Now I’m in the best shape of my life, I’m the best I have ever been mentally and I have the best relationship with food. 🍓🧀🥩🌯🌮🍫🍟🍔🍊🥒🍷🍿🍩 - Life with BALANCE ✅✅ #realtalk

Still working towards my goal of using up all the beautiful organic veg in my fridge before I go away for a few days. Today’s lunch was a veggie soup made with my homemade organic chicken broth (I always have jars of this in the freezer to use in soups and sauces). Pumpkin, carrot, onion, zucchini, bok choy, mushrooms, garlic and fresh turmeric went into this bowl of yummy goodness. A handful of fresh parsley went in at the end of cooking before blending. So quick and easy! Finished off with a drizzle of the most divine organic Italian olive oil that I found at IGA Maleny a few weeks ago. The rest will go into the freezer for lunch or dinner when I’m short on time or just craving a big nourishing veggie hit. 🍠🥕

TURKEY QUINOA FUN BOWLS! It’s ‘fun’ because there are chips on offer with dinner, woohoo! Into our bowls went QUINOA, topped with CHEESE, topped with a chilli-like/taco-ish TURKEY (and veggie loaded ) mince mixture, then some AVOCADO and plain YOGHURT. This was not spicy at all, my husband and I added jalapeños, the mince was only seasoned with cumin, ground coriander, oregano and paprika among other things but chilli powder or something similar would be so good in it! My 4 year old absolutely devoured his bowl, meanwhile, the 2 year old pretty much just ate chips, yoghurt and any cheese she could fish out for dinner. Not a lot of anything else. I thought putting the cheese on top of the quinoa so it would melt through a bit would be a nice little lure but I was wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️😬😂. The chips were certainly a great bait for my 4 year old though, he scooped and dipped away and really enjoyed his meal 👏

We had a choir concert tonight, so I decided to use the instant pot for dinner. I put chicken legs in the instant pot with a spicy brown mustard marinade/sauce. Once they were done, I broiled them in the oven for a few minutes to crisp up. The meat fell off the bone and they had s crispy outside! I also roasted some asparagus and squeezed a lemon over some arugula with tomatoes. Since I've changed my eating habits the one thing I crave most is pizza. Tried numerous crust recipes and most tasted like cardboard.
