Forearm plank to fail.. not trying to toot my own horn or anything but I could have lasted longer. My forearms started to sweat (this was the end of my workout) and I totally fell on my face. 🤦🏻‍♀️😆

Can I get an AMEN!? - - - - #REALTALK It took me time to realize that I could still be considered a "fitness influencer" or a "good personal trainer" without being super lean all of time time. - - - 📣Having ripped abs that show doesn’t mean you are healthy. Getting as lean as possible doesn’t represent fit. - - - Getting smaller didn’t make my life better. I wasn’t suddenly more happy or successful as my weight dwindled. - - - What did bring me happiness? Ending the war with my body. Making peace with the mirror. Realizing food was my friend. When you take your selfie and forgot you had blue pre-workout. 😆 . . This morning was a cardio day so I took two @onepeloton Tabata classes. 50mins of HIIT spin is no freaking joke and I literally came out on the other end soaked! Great way to start the day.

The stomach flu has taken my family hostage! 😩 First the baby got it. Then I did. Then my oldest. Then my husband. And now my oldest got hit again so needless to say I haven’t had a workout since last Wednesday, but I’m just trying to stay afloat and get some rest in. There isn’t more free time on the horizon. - - - So many people put off their goals. They are waiting for Monday. For a fresh month. You don’t have to be restrictive to see progress. It doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. - - - Home workouts can be extremely effective and can be done with minimal equipment. How to choose the best option at a restaurant ⤵️ - - - SPOILER ALERT 🚨 It’s SUBJECTIVE 🤗Balance and moderation is everything. If you have been eating nothing but heavy nutrient lacking foods, look for something fresh nutrient dense. If you want to treat yourself DO IT. 👌🏼 - - - I like to think of my intake like a GPA. If I bombed my test in the morning, I’ll try to bring up my grade with better choices the rest of the day. 😀 - - - If you know you will be going out to eat for something heavy🍟🍔🍕 later that night keep it balanced during the day🍌🥗🍳. Focus on eating whole foods, drinking enough water ect. I personally avoid full cheat days, and stick to treat meals. - - - When traveling it’s easy to go overboard tryin everything indulgent thing at each stop. (TMI—Personally doing this wrecks my digestion, and I all around feel like 💩.) - - - If you reeeeaaaally want to try the cake 🍰 or something on the appetizer menu, do it! I am not as lean as I used to be.🤷🏼‍♀️ - - - I wanted to be lean, have abs, and be vascular. I counted macros, weighed meals, and focused on maintaining the leanest physique possible. I exercised between 7-10 times per week alternating HIIT and weight training. - - - The truth? This is who I thought I had to be. - - - My goal was (and still is) to show people possibility. You can transform your body, from anywhere, if you show up for yourself. - - - Does that have to mean being restrictive? NOPE. - - - Too often we judge ones health based on how lean and shredded they are. When in reality, healthy is a size that looks different on everyone. - - - Move your body because it’s meant to, not because you hate it. Eat healthy foods you enjoy, not less. Needed a rest day today which probably isn’t the best idea since we’ve a concert to go tonight, but I’m just going to up my protein for the rest of the day and not freak out if I have a little junk. My husband has been out of town all week and we haven’t been out minus kids in forever so we’re Definitely going to enjoy ourselves tonight! . .
