The chath rituals are offered in natural water bodies like sea, rivers, lakes, or ponds. People have found other ways as generally the nearby lakes or rivers are very crowded with people performing the rituals. Some people make a small tub-like reservoir at home, fill it with water and conduct the ceremony in it. Priyam's drawing here shows the same. There's a small reservoir in the middle, her mother draped in a saree, the offerings kept on one side..and he was with her during the "pooja". The adorable smile on Priyam's face is evident that he was proud to have made this. Drawing without any restrictions inspire a lot of confidence in children. Just let your child draw his own version of the world. You'll be surprised to see them replicating that confidence in every other field.
