I don't have any pretty wood to post tonight so I dug out a not so old photo (5 years ago) from one of my favorite trips with friends. This was taken in Ketchikan Alaska. my friend Ray's brother Jim lives there and this was his boat. we were fishing for halibut and king salmon. we stayed in these little tiny cabins you could rent for 25 bucks a day built and run by the forestry service if you could get there by boat..you had to take a 44 magnum to the outhouse because of the grizzlies, and somebody would always stand watch while you were washing dishes in the creek ... It was an absolutely wonderful trip with very old good friends the best kind you can have... We all turned 50 that year, friends from high school, and we celebrated with this trip together. It's been too long since my last wilderness adventure... I need to plan another. It makes your soul and heart fill up. in this photo we are on the way to the cabin and we jumped ship with the chainsaw to cut driftwood for the fire..
Here's a fun way to kick off your Tuesday! 💃🕺
