Sorry, I tuned you out when you said you hate/never wear/don’t/don’t need/ makeup.
We all can use a little lipstick mmmk?
I’m so over makeup stigmas. What I enjoy most is demystifying makeup for women and men, that’s it’s not as complicated as some assume. Along with the stigma, that most women and men wear makeup because they are not comfortable with their face comes the assumption that with this bold lip and sharp brows we aim to impress.
I’m here to tell you the only people I aim to impress are me, myself and maybe the girl with the killer winged liner/other makeup gurus.
My husband? He appreciates the artistry or when I try a new look or it comes out looking bomb. However, he loves my fresh face too.
Makeup is fun. It’s an art, it’s my outlet for many things in my life, including my battle with anxiety. Makeup can be edgy and dark or girly and light.
Knock this nonsense off with this stigma of makeup. Maybe we can stop the judgment and break the barriers so more women and men could feel comfortable for wanting to explore the wonderful world of makeup.
I hope we can all find an outlet. Maybe some of those unpleasant, unhappy people who tear down others who don’t agree with them can find a little metaphoric concealer for their ugly hearts.
Oh. Wearing the @norvina palette from @anastasiabeverlyhills
Trying to get as many looks out of this baby as I can!
