When the weather calls for some heart warming, comfort food, Shepherd’s Pie with its robust, warm flavours is a favourite. This one is with lamb mince cooked in exactly 1 spoon of oil, slow and long in to let the flavours blend. I personally like to toss in a dash of Nutmeg powder and a couple of Bay Leaves to add to the warm flavours. .
The potato mash is without butter, though has a dab of sour cream and low fat Cheddar. .
On the side: plain steamed cabbage (yes I love it!), you can add butter, pepper, salt though it’s not needed with the flavourful Shepherd’s. . 👌🏼👌🏼😊😊😋😋❤️.
