Guilt builds up in your chest, filling your heart with toxic shame. We often say sorry for things that are not our fault and beyond our control. It give a false sense of control, as if there was something we could have done to change it. The first step is radically accepting that things are, as they are. We are only on control of ourselves. You beat yourself up for things you can’t change, things that are not your fault, in some way it is comforting, this false sense of control, but you have suffered enough at the hands of others and yourself, this comfort is making you sick. Stop. The ground must be broken for plants to grow, just as we must break down mental walls to heal ourselves and grown. The only way to change things is to accept them, without judgment.
The judgement card represents reflection and awakening. When faced with the judgement card we must be honest and face ourselves. It calls for rebirth that only can be achieved be really looking at yourself free of toxic shame induced judgement. Look at yourself without judgement. Practice being nonjudgemental when you make a mistake, practice self compassion.
