In the last three days,I had to travel out of town for personal reasons & vice versa.
While I returned & was waiting for my car at the terminal to come & pick me ,looking around I realized something strange.
Something dat we all must have experienced but r always in a rush to never let sit in & seep cuz we r always in a hurry,in a rush to be sumwhere else.
Looking at the hello's & goodbyes',the greetings' & the farewells' of those around me,it suddenly dawned onto me dat out of any other place, any other hotel or cafe, terminal's have seen the most of love dat their is to see!
I know cliche,right?!
But I am being true to what I observed.
People coming & hugging their loved one's in warm embraces eveh though they have been years apart, someone kissing an elder brother whom he never spoke to in a year,a grandfather picking up a grand child he never saw before,a mother telling his son to eat the aalo wala paratha's she has lovingly packed for him,a young wife with henna still fresh on her hands departing from her husband for the first time after marriage,a child clinging to his father knowing dat the terminal symbolizes distance,a girl sobbing ligthly, trying to control her tears while her bae comes to see her off,a boy telling his friend "Feamanallah & look after urself";those last minute hugs, those last minute embraces, those tiny moments of joy dat we tend to hold onto.
But we never realize da value of these loved one's when they r near to us.We take them for granted k they will always be there.& the moment they tend to go just a little bit away,we try & hold onto them.
Terminals' see more love than many places do...
So,go now!Go & hug those around u,tell them u love them, tell them u hold gratitude 4 their presence becuz u never know when those around u,have to travel far or near. So,go now n hug ur parents',kiss ur siblings',call dat friend!
Go now cuz life is short & our travels r undless 💕
