Ever wonder how a building gets a metal roof? Here’s @hpmhawaii#newtechmachinery “standing seam” roofing machine.
Standing seam metal roofs are constructed from long panels with interlocking seams. In this case, the panels are made right onsite from 24ga aluminum coils. The panels will then flown up to the roof with a crane, then installed by a local roofing subcontractor.
Making the panels onsite this way saves precious shipping, crating and freighting costs. 👌
