The temperature has dipped into the single digits so I want to share a tip on how I prepare for the cold weather in Toronto:
1. Look at the “Feels like” temperature, not just at the actual temperature.
2. Then look at the humidity (summer) or wind chill AND wind speed (winter). That wind chill is no joke 🌬
3. Dress in layers. Is it too early to bring out the base layers? Nope, I already did it 😂
Additional tip for photographers shooting outside:
1. Check the weather days leading up to the shoot, including Percent of Precipitation where the shoot will be, sunrise/sunset times, visibility, etc. Check hourly the day before. Kind of joking. But not really 😂
Any other tips? I’m determined to try and embrace the cold this winter 🙊
