Our very own @.life speaking out about mental health ♡
🍑 I survived 🍑
I'm sure as hell today (which is a feeling I love! 😅) but what an amazing day it was & for such a great cause. 🍑
Mental health is so important & just because someone is smiling on the outside, doesn't mean they are happy on the inside. The worse thing about mental health is that it can change so quickly.
One minute you're happy, doing what you love, being who you want to be & the next, something happens and it's like a switch. You don't want to be here anymore. You feel worthless, invisible & feel that if you were to disappear no-one would care or notice. 🍑
You lay in bed crying for someone to care. Someone to listen. Someone to either save you, or put you out of your misery. - in saying that, it's built up from a lot of different things but when you're finally in a good mindset after struggling, it doesn't take much to knock you back down, hard. 🍑
The thing you need to remember is the more times you get back up, the stronger you become
When this is your day-to-day, each knock down feels worse than your last. You become tired from fighting your mind, which makes you irritable & angry, then you just feel sad & question why you can't just be "normal". 🍑
This is real. This is my life. Enjoying myself in the morning & then my husband holding me at night telling me that it's all going to be ok when I feel like I'm slowly sinking in quicksand.
No-one knows if it's really going to be ok. No-one can control the future but I'm sure as hell going to keep fighting for mine.
With all of the dreams to pursue in this world, all I want is happiness.
