Today we started our Monday like we do every morning. We ate breakfast while Shiloh squealed about getting to see her friends and teachers at school, wondered what new alphabet animal she was going to meet today, and packed up all her things for show and tell because she was the line leader for the day 🙌 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We chose last Fall to send Shiloh to preschool. She was only 2 years old, I was about to have another baby, and it was the best decision we could have made for our family. The consistency, social skills, teacher influence, time away, and academics have been more than we could’ve hoped for. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I say all of this not because I think you should put your 2 or 3 year old in preschool. I say this because I think there are things that I never thought I would do that I am now doing and I see the great benefits of. We all have to make choices that work best for us and our families, and we have to believe in them wholeheartedly.
You are doing a good job, and your baby is learning from you more than anyone else, no matter if they go to full time day care or stay home all day. Keep on keeping on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
