In social media these days it seems like everyone around us is “perfect.”
They lead the perfect lives: always traveling to new and exotic places, always happy with the perfect smiles, they have money, the perfect bodies and relationships.
Or so it seems...
See in social media we can choose how people see us. We choose our best moments to highlight who we are.
But this often leads to forgetting who we really are.
For example, I am not always out climbing mountains, jumping out of planes or paddlebording. I travel, a lot, but I work a lot behind my laptop or my camera. I’m not a full time blogger... yet (fingers crossed)! I work as a content creator and marketing/design coach for start ups, and help them grow.
I used to have many jobs as I worked my way up: lifeguard, swim instructor, personal trainer, event coordinator... until I hustled to become an advertising designer. I took on many roles, learned all I could, and when I got laid off I started my own company and got my own clients and companies.
What I post here is my passions, my hobbies and what I hope to do full time one day. It’s my highlight reel, with real stories that I hope can inspire others to live their dream life.
Perfection doesn’t exist.
I choose being real. I choose to accept who I am, flaws and all.
I choose to share all of that with you.
And I hope you’ll share your stories and journey with me 💕 . .
