Crunchy Tahini Cardamom GRANOLA...I have been wanting to try this recipe from @ for a long time now. Frommybowl.com is a lovely vegan and healthy recipes' website by Caitlin Shoemaker(no promotion here. I really like her recipes). 🌱
Enjoy the granola with smoothies, nice-creams or as a snack. We have been munching on these even with some afternoon tea😀. Created a beautiful dessert using these for some sudden guests too. Look out for the recipe, coming tomorrow.
1/3 cup tahini(I used home-made)
1/4 cup agave syrup or any other liquid sweetener
2 cups jumbo rolled oats
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
2 Tbsp sesame seeds
2 Tbsp brazil nuts bits
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup dried cranberries or any dried fruit of choice
🔸Preheat oven to 325°F
🔸In a large bowl, whisk together tahini, agave syrup, vanilla extract, cardamom, cinnamon and salt. 🔸Now add rest of the ingredients except cranberries and mix well to coat everything with the wet ingredients. 🔸Transfer the mixture on to a silicon sheet or parchment lined baking tray. Spread it out in a thin layer. 🔸Bake in the bottom most shelf of the oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip the entire mixture gently(they do break, which is fine) and pop the tray back in the oven for another 5-7 minutes or when the edges start to brown. 🔸Remove from the oven, sprinkle the cranberries and let cool completely before storing in an airtight container. 🔹Note🔹
🔹You can substitute the seeds/nuts of your choice.
🔹 Substitute tahini with any seed/nut butter.
