Open workout 18.1 in the bag.
As I put this post up it reminds me of the previous 12months and how many hours of training have gone in to it. How many sacrifices have been made. Everyday what I’ve put myself through physically and mentally to get better at the Sport of Crossfit. -
I’m by no means a top Athlete in the sport, however my commitment to it is relative to my life and my goals which are no less important to me than those that are aiming to reach the pinnacle of the sport. -
I can look back and feel proud of the effort I have put in and know that in the last 12months I did everything I could do to be the best athlete I could be. -
Any of us who have goals and ambitions we always tend to look forward and because of this our goals always seem far away. We tend to always striving for more, better, even perfection. This can leave us feeling like we are ALWAYS chasing and we miss just how much we’ve improved because we continue to increase our expectation levels or move the goals further away.
Now and again I believe it’s important to look back and see how far you’ve actually come...Give yourself a pat on the back and use this to motivate you over the next 12months. Take comfort that you are on the right track and give yourself a chance to celebrate the little wins as you go. -
