I've haven't been very active this week for a lot of reasons, both professional and personal... But back to business now!
Nowadays, the main reason I hear from people for NOT working out is...TIME! I agree that in today's society, everything and everyone is in a rush, thus leaving less time to take care of ourselves.
So, I'm gonna share 2 very simple exercises, which you can do at home and that doesn't require any equipment. All you need is an interval timer that you can download on either Google or Apple platforms.
The following exercises are to be performed one after the other, for 2 minutes each and 10 secs rest in between each exercise.
To make it simple, you'll start with exercise 1, which is the jumping jack, for 2 minutes non stop. Then 10 seconds rest and you start with exercise 2, which is the jumping scissors. Don't forget to move the hands like I'm doing instead of keeping them on the hips like most people do. Once exercise 2 is over, it's 10 seconds rest again and back to exercise 1! And you keep doing that for a minimum of 6 rounds(1 exercise=1 round). Total time for 6 rounds is 13 minutes. I guess you can find 13 minutes in a day! As you progress, you can add more and more rounds!
This is a simple circuit and ideal for people starting their fitness journeys. Of course, it's intensive. It'll be hard at first but keep trying. Don't forget, it doesn't get any easier, it's just YOU GETTING STRONGER BY THE DAY!
