I took some time off—observed the world in front of me, took in the beauty of nature, ate delicious, real, home-grown, slow-cooked food roasted over a real fire, and surrounded myself with good people. Didn’t think about or stress over work. Just breathed and took it all in. Felt gratitude for everything I have. Soothed my mind, body, and soul. .
That lasted about 1.5 days. And it felt good. I need more of that. Especially right now. And I need to learn how to put my phone away, store the memories in my heart, then just let go. I plan to have more me-time. It is essential to living a joyful life. More me-time—more time making not just others happy all the time, but first creating my own happiness.
