I’ve spent the last two years and a half learning the window treatment industry, furniture construction, fibers, gaining upholstery knowledge, building an amazing clientele and learning from some of the most intelligent, wise, and caring women in Buffalo. I’m so grateful to have worked with Amy, Maryan, Margaret, Sue, Anne, @pklausier @maryscarc31860 , the workrooms; Ginny, Dory, Troy, Dave, etc
Calico Corners opened my eyes to what I didn’t know, it grounded me and helped me understand that “bullshit can only take you so far”
What a fuckin whirlwind of an experience this entire year has been. I along with Maryan and Amy will officially be closing this branch in Buffalo today. It’s been a numbing feeling. But I think it hit me last night
I’m going to miss my baby steps growing into the industry of interior design. I’m going to miss my “beasts”, cause they were all truly so admirable in their own unique way. Missing this already ❤️😩 _______________________________
But it’s time to move forward.
