WHAT I EAT FOR FAT LOSS - Monday Dinner Edition: I had a protein shake for breakfast, then a protein bar and cheese + crackers for lunch today, as I was rushed and didn't prepare something in time. I was craving something nutrient-dense for dinner, so I decided to have steak and veggies for dinner. Dinner tonight was 175g of @beeflambnz sirloin steak, finished with 12g of @westgoldnz butter + 75g of broccolini, 49g of red capsicum and 46g of red onion cooked in 12g of butter and finished with 30mL of @anchorgostrong fresh cream. I needed this to be a fatty meal as well, because my breakfast and lunch had hardly any fat. Macros for this meal are 47P/9C/39F. -SPRING FORM CAKE TIN PALEO PANCAKES- No Flipping necessary! It was King Phat’s turn to make a healthy brekky this weekend & he went a sweet option for a change with this amazing fluffy pancake. It was a paleo version of a pancake, using almond and coconut flour instead of normal flour. That sure didn’t impact on the taste as it was the best pancake we have had in a very long time (insert head wobble!!). This is MY EASY ALL TIME FAVOURITE EGG-FREE BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE🍹 Once in a blue moon I don’t want eggs for breakfast 😲 (I know, weird huh?), so this quick and healthy smoothie is my absolute go-to. It includes HEALTHY FATS from the avocado and coconut milk and protein from the protein powder. The berries and kale constitute low levels of carbs. Perfect macros! Ingredients are as follows: * 🥑 avocado * 🍃 kale (a small handful) * 🍇 blue berries (a small handful) * 🥛 Coconut milk * 1 scoop protein powder. * 1-2 tablespoons of chia seeds * A dash of vanilla essence * Water to top up/ ice. * For extra sweetness add stevia. Blend! Def invest in a real blender... not a stick blender. Not so good with kale😝

WHAT I HAD FOR DINNER FOR FAT LOSS: I decided to have dinner early tonight (as I didn't end up having lunch) and this is what I put together to meet my protein macro for the day. Dinner was 335g (raw weight) of chicken breast, cooked with a little all-purpose seasoning + 65g (raw weight) of broccolini, 45g red onion and 60g red capsicum cooked in 17g of @westgoldnz butter and a little garlic. Macros for this meal were 79P/9C/23F. Alternative to traditional or quick oats. I understand the time pressures in the morning to get out the door, this takes no more than 5mins. And if you are going to eat breakfast, it's worth spending 5mins to have something that is going to keep you full and satisfied (protein/fats) so you arent reaching for a "pick me up" at 10am. If you don't have time consider fasting through breakfast and having a substantial lunch. Coconut “Porridge” Serves 1 • 25g butter • 1 egg • 1 tbsp coconut flour • Pinch psyllium husk • 4 tbsp coconut cream • Pinch salt 1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan, stir over low heat until desired consistency is reached. 2. I made cookies again yesterday and I’m noticing that I like the consistency when they were made with allulose versus being made with erythritol; these are erythritol. Here’s the recipe: —— Ingredients - 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/4 cup coconut oil 1 1/4 cup allulose (or other sweetener) 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 large eggs 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 tsp xanthan gum 3 cups blanched almond flour (see note below) 1 1/2 cups @lilys_sweets_chocolate chips 2/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts - Instructions —- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a mixer, cream together the butter, coconut oil, and -sweetener. Add the vanilla & eggs, mixing completely. Mix in the baking soda, xanthan gum & salt then add the almond flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing well! Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts if desired with a wooden spoon. Spoon tablespoons of the dough approximately 3 inches apart on to the cookie sheet. Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until golden brown around edges and then let cool. Enjoy!! Good morning, keto people 🌞 Here we have a bulletproof pumpkin spice egg latte in my favorite mug that I bought on the honeymoon. If you’ve never stuck a raw egg in your BPC and blended it up until there’s two inches of frothy goodness on top, don’t knock it til you try it 🥚☕️ For this one, I used 10 oz of coffee, one egg, a scoop of @prymalcoffeecreamer in salted caramel, a few @sweetleafstevia drops, some pumpkin pie spice, a tbsp of HWC, 2 tsp of MCT, and a heavy tbsp of canned pumpkin. So I have been eating in a keto style for 3 weeks now. It has become alot easier and is definitely more a way of life now than an eating plan. Results wise I have lost 2.2kg - 1.2 of those were in the last week where I trialled intermittent fasting. For me it's quite easy to fit it into my lifestyle as I go to work around 7/8am and my break is at 12pm which is when I start my eating until 7/8pm at night. From this week I am incorporating some fitness! I'll be playing netball once a week which I love, and it's with friends so won't even feel like exercise.
