My favorite childhood meal, keto-fied 🍝
Believe it or not, Filipino Spaghetti is huge in the Philippines. Instead of 🍔 & 🍟, Filipino fast food restaurants serve fried 🍗 and 🍝. It’s smothered in a sweet tomato sauce with hot dogs. It’s not authentic Italian cuisine, but it’s definitely my favorite kind of spaghetti!
Sauce Instructions: Sauté 3 cloves garlic and 1/2 yellow onion in EVOO. Brown 2 lbs ground beef. Pour in 1 jar Rao’s tomato sauce and 8 oz generic tomato sauce, let simmer. Season sauce to liking; I seasoned mine w/ pink salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed red pepper, and parsley. Add 3 tbsp granulated stevia, 1 tbsp Heinz reduced sugar ketchup, 3 beef franks, 1 oz sausage desired amount of mushrooms. Let simmer for addtl 10 mins. Serve on top of cooked zoodles. Garnish with grated parm & parsley.
Zoodle instructions: Spiralize 2 zucchinis (I used a Vegetti spiralizer). Sauté 2 cloves chopped garlic in 1 tbsp unsalted butter, add spiralized noodles, season w/ garlic salt & black pepper. Cook for 3-5 mins. Serve.
