Here's what today looked like! . . 98 Fat, 74 Protein, 10 net carbs . BREAKFAST: my day started with my usual venti iced coffee and my creamer mix (in highlights) and a delicious @stokabars crashed its way into my life. I was only supposed to have half but ended up devouring the whole bar as it is absolutely delicious! Think granola bar but KETO. . . LUNCH: we went to have lunch with my dad so I ordered a @topochicousa and mixed in a @truelemon flavor packet like my good friend @ketointexas likes to do it (it was yummy!). I ordered caldo de pollo (chicken soup) with no rice, no carrots, no potatoes, and a side of avocado and queso fresco. I weighed everything using my @josephjoseph #pursescale (discount code in my highlights) Before workout I took my daily @motiv8performance burn and amino and kicked ass per usual 😉💪🥊(discount code in highlights) . . DINNER I was tempted to make egg chalupas but ended up putting a little ground beef instead of eggs. I added jalapenos, cream and salsa. Breakfast chimichanga thanks to @cutdacarb scramble eggs spinach and cottage cheese together add salt, chili powder set aside. Get your @cutdacarb flat bread spread cream cheese add mozzarella cheese (I like to add a little bit of cheddar as well) add the egg and sprinkle crispy bacon bits wrap and fry in a pan till golden brown. I like to throw it in the oven for 4 min at 400 degrees to melt the cheese nice. Get an avocado add sour cream and cotija cheese mix together and that’s your ago spread. How often should you workout? 🤔⁣ ⁣ You want to start your fitness journey but aren’t sure how many days a week you should train and you’re feeling a bit lost and confused?⁣ ⁣ GIRLLL, I GOT YOU 🙌🏻⁣ ⁣ How many times a week you workout is a very personalized thing and will depend largely on your goals and availability!⁣ ⁣ Currently I try to get in about 3 workouts per week. I dedicate one day to my lower body, one day to my shoulders/chest/triceps (aka your “PUSH” muscles), and one day to my back/biceps (“PULL” muscles) 💪🏻⁣ ⁣ Some things to keep in mind when trying to schedule workouts throughout the week⁣ ⁣ 🌷If you’re just starting out on your fitness journey start small 👉🏻 aim for about 2-3 days per week to get into a routine⁣ 🌷Work around your schedule 👉🏻 some days will be busier than others, so pick days where you know you’ll have free time (anywhere from 30 minutes - 1 hour)⁣ 🌷Once you’ve gotten comfortable with your routine and start to make goals for yourself, make those goals a priority 👉🏻 if you’re really wanting to grow a certain muscle try to train it more than once a week ⁣ 🌷Always make time for rest days 👉🏻 rest is extremely important for our bodies to recover and come back stronger, neglecting rest will only hinder your progress⁣ ⁣ Scheduling your workouts doesn’t have to be difficult! Will my introvert friends raise their hands!?!🙋🏼‍♀️ I have had the BEST past couple of weekends that were full of people, places and activities that I LOVE! But man am I exhausted 💤😴😴 . I had the opportunity to sub at Gold’s Gum Belterra and meet some amazing riders, visit a pumpkin patch and connect with some fellow Believers, gear a great lesson in my ABF and play at our church picnic. But when I got home I was DOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEE. Peopled out. Overstimulated. And in need of some serious recharge time. . Insert amazing husband. .
