I’m definitely back into the swing of cooking for my cut. Bulking is far more forgiving when you want to buy precooked meals. But when on a cut it really matters how many calories, how much carbs and especially how much fats you consume. Cooking your own meals lets you be more accurate about what you consume. . Tonight I came home extremely late from work and I hadn’t eaten yet. Though the chef left me penne bolognesa topped with cheese, I decided to cook my own meal. I didn’t have too much macros left, especially carbs and fats. I made my used to be go-to dish again: Thai Peanut Sauce Noodles with @cleanfoodsnl konjac fettuccine. This time I added zucchini and lime juice for a more sweet and sour flavor. Last night’s homemade chicken tikka and veg pizza, using @lodough.co and @eatlean cheese 🍕 🙌🏻 This clocked in at 399 calories with 55g protein, and genuinely left me more stuffed than my usual medium Dominos chicken pizza order (which FYI, contains roughly 950 calories) 😋 Now before you roll your eyes, I’m not claiming it tasted exactly like a Dominos... but it was DELISH in its own right 🤤 I made use of the 550 additional calories I’d have consumed eating a Dominos to enjoy a bowl of ice cream + toppings... and x3 G&Ts. Moroccan Baked Eggs 🍳 500 grams lean beef mince Red onion Capsicum Garlic Mushrooms Moroccan spice mix Tinned tomatoes x 2 Coriander Eggs ▪️Finely chop red onion ▪️Spray pan with oil ▪️Sauté red onion until soft ▪️Add beef mince ▪️Cook until brown ▪️Add garlic, sliced mushrooms and chopped capsicum and heat through for 2 mins ▪️Add Moroccan Spice mix : see below for this ▪️Add 2 tins of tomatoes and stir ▪️Simmer for 6 mins on low stirring occasionally ▪️Portion into heat proof bowls and crack 2 eggs on top of each bowl. ▪️Place under grill until eggs are just set on top (careful not to over cook) ▪️Top with coriander and a dollop of Greek yogurt. . . This is me, about 10 months on from removing myself from the toxic relationship I had with myself. I have stretch marks, cellulite, bit of a tum, lot more of a bum, and a slight increase in freckles. I have no idea what my body percentage is, or how much I weigh, nor do I care. My body is still physically recovering from being a personal punching bag for ten years. It’s going to need a lot more nurture and kindness. But I’m so glad I get to supply my body with that kindness now. I’m so incredibly in love with it. I have so much respect for my body, the energy it gives me, the scars and memories, the movements and the compassion that it holds. Because it’s the best body for me (plus it looks fab in some CK) 💛💛💛

HOMEMADE CHICKEN & VEGETABLE PHO 🍲 This was incredibly tasty, so I wanted to share it with you all 💛 Recipe: 1️⃣ Gently Fry some onion, garlic, ginger & chilli, until fragrant 2️⃣ Add chicken stock & bring to the boil 3️⃣ add chicken to broth, boil for 10 mins or until chicken is cooked 4️⃣ add green beans, carrot & broccoli, simmer for 4 minutes 5️⃣ add cabbage, simmer until cooked through. ROOIBOS COCONUT STEELCUT OATMEAL 🤩 A delicious Sunday brunch bowl that hit all the spots 🥰 Recipe below 👇👇 Soak 1/2 cup of steelcut oats in water overnight 🌝 Wake up in the morning, do some yoga and then boil a cup of rooibos tea ☕️ Rinse and drain the oats ✨ On the stove, bring 1 cup of rooibos tea and the oats to a boil ⚡️ Bring down to a simmer and 1 mashed banana, 2 Tbsp coconut butter, 1 tsp cinnamon (or use a chai spice mix) and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence 💫 Stir frequently until the oats become soft ☺️ Top with your fave thaaangs, go sit outside and enjoy! 💐🥳 I used @wazoogles new Breakfast Bomb granola seed mix, cacao nibs, brown rice syrup and blanabaz 🍌🍫💣

Porridge mit frischen Heidelbeeren, Erdnussmus & Zartbitterschokolade. Zum süßen habe ich die #flavdrops Chai-Tea @bodyattacksportsnutrition verwendet, die ich mir gestern gekauft habe und sooooo lecker sind 😋💭👍🏼. Rezept für den Porridge, der super schnell geht und auch noch ordentlich satt macht: 70g Haferflocken Whey (3 Messlöffel) 1 TL Chiasamen 1 EL Magerquark in ca. 400ml Wasser/ Milch aufkochen, die Hälfte der Beeren unterrühren und den Rest der Beeren, mit Erdnussmus, Zimt etc. toppen 😉. Wie viel kcal das Ganze hat kann ich euch leider nicht sagen, da ich seit Anfang Dezember nicht mehr tracke und so auch viel besser fahre. Ich esse wirklich nur noch so viel, wie ich an Appetit verspüre, versuche weiterhin Eiweißreich zu essen und an Trainingstagen viel und gesunde Kohlenhydrate mit einzubauen und wenn man sich gesund & ausgewogen ernährt sowie regelmäßig Sport treibt, sich nicht häufig mit Alkohol (absolute Kalorienbombe) vergnügt, formt sich der Körper auch ohne zu tracken 😉. Ich war mit dem tracken nicht glücklich...es hat mich gestresst und ich hatte immer ein Hungergefühl, weil ich mir dachte, dass ich ja jetzt nur bis zu meinen vorgegeben #macros essen darf. 🥴 Letztendlich muss es jeder für sich selbst wissen und für alle, die nicht auf die Bühne gehen und damit Geld verdienen, empfehle ich auf sein tatsächliches Hungergefühl und regelmäßige Mahlzeiten zu achten, denn nur ihr kennt euren Körper am besten. Falls man abnehmen möchte, finde ich das tracken ganz gut, um ein Gefühl dafür zu bekommen aber damit meine ich, wenn wirklich 30kg, 20kg oder 10kg runter müssen und nicht für Mädels die eh schon sehr dünn sind und meinen noch dünner zu werden. Fat loss is really much simpler than people perceive it to be. ———————————————————- Firstly, it’s all about energy balance. There is no mystery to it. Get that right, you will get a result. . . However, what I have gathered from my experience, is that what prevents everybody from getting a result is their approach to it. . . Majority of people has that all or nothing mentality, which is of course doomed to fail. The ‘I am either whatever I want’ to ‘I am only having shakes and apples 🍎 for days’ ?? ———————————————————— The key to success is constant small steps towards your goal. This means following: •Training regularly (not 2 times per day for 1 week and then not at all for next 2 🤦‍♀️) •Small, but constant deficit (or surplus). Prendere una ciotola e versare l’intero composto. Versare successivamente lo yogurt greco .. Ovviamente il topping è assolutamente a piacere personale. 🤤 vi lascio immaginare la bontà.
